What will the wedding of the future look like?
Technology is going to have an impact in every aspect of our lives, and the wedding day is no exception. It might seem like an unlikely combination, but actually, wedding-based technology could be used to further improve the best day of your life.
Some aspects of weddings can be stressful, and the advent of technology to help can remove some of the worries that go hand in hand with a wedding, taking the pressure of both the couple and the guests. To that end, we have compiled a list of technological advancements we expect to see in the not too distant future.
The use of drone photographers. Firstly, you’ll want to be able to get a view of the land when planning where to host your wedding in the first place, which drones can help with. But on a more personal note, the use of drones with cameras allows you to create never before accessible photographs, to capture the best day of your life to the fullest possible extent.
Go-Pro cameras. Similarly, tiny Go-Pro camera, in the bouquet for example, would capture all the special and memorable moments from the day, including those which may not have been seen before.
Live streaming robots. Instead of hiring a person to live stream the wedding all day, why not have a robot do it. This way, any friends or family who couldn’t make the wedding can still partake in the experience from their chosen tablet or smartphone.
Using 3-D printers, and light projectors. 3-D printing allows cakes to have complex designs, the like of which wouldn’t be possible with out the technology. And to top it off, clever use of light projectors can make the grand unveiling of the cake, for example, even more special.
Driverless technology. Now admittedly we are some way off this yet, but imagine being able to party all night, knowing that no-one need be the designated driver, thanks to the driverless car picking you up.
